I have digital behind the ear hearing aids but springtime blocked sinuses seem to be affecting the sound.?

I have only noticed this sharp, brittle sound quality since the hay fever/stuffy head season arrived. Has anyone else had this problem?

This is not medical advice. Could be that you have a temporary conductive loss caused by fluid trapped in the middle ear. Only way to know is to get a test called a tympanogram at the audiologists, or have someone who knows what to look for (preferably an ENT) look for fluid behind your ear drum. Lots of relatively easy treatments for this, go get it checked out.
