How do I heal all my characters in one round in final fantasy III?

When it’s my white mage’s turn in battle, how do I select all my characters and then heal them in one round? I’ve seen it in youtube videos and whatnot, with their devouts and such healing all the characters in one round.

You have to use the control paddle, and which ever side of the screen your on, push the left or right arrow and it will target all of your party members after selecting a spell
