What type of paint for crutches?

I’m having foot surgery next week, and I’ll be on crutches for at least 8 weeks after that. I have some crutches, but I want to paint them. That said – what sort of paint would be best? I was thinking acrylic paint, but I’m afraid that would chip really badly.

Use some sticky shelf paper..or your might consider using pvc tape. It comes in several colors. It would be easy to clean or change colors if desired.
