What is the safest ice melter for use on an aluminum surface?

We have had an aluminum porch and wheelchair ramp added to the front of our house. What are some products more friendly to the aluminum than traditional rock salt (which isn’t really friendly to anything)? I live in SE Michigan where most of the winter it is 0-32 degrees F.

I know this stuff is more expensive, but it works good ….and totally safe for your walkway
