Should I use a knee brace or an ace bandage wrap for my knee?

I am in the sport Color Guard. My knee has been hurting since I started color guard. I don’t know why but it usually hurts when i walk and hurts over a period of time. Its my knee not any where around my knee just my knee. I was now wondering if i could have sprained it ( whcih i don’t think i did) Of if its hurts because ive been using it to much in Color Guard. Should i use a knee brace for it or should i wrap it in an ace bandage?

You might not need a full brace.
