Can Centipedes drown?

Honestly..just 4 hours ago..I was ready to take a shower. And I saw..not one..not two..but THREE! centipedes in my bath tub. So..I was too lazy to grab a shoe and smack it. So I decided to turn on the water and try to drown it.

They should drown. Their not like sharks, your correct. Either your water wasn’t that deep or house centipedes can swim. I’m not sure if house centipedes can swim or not.

But still, even though they must live under moist conditions, they weren’t built to live in water. Besides, I researched about them, and they need air.

Bonus: I’m not positive, but there are only a couple spiders I believe that are more deadly than centipedes. I wouldn’t put anything against the Brazilian Wandering Spider or the Sydney Funnel Web Spider. But the spiders avoid humans more. Centipedes actually attacks sometimes, rather than avoiding that moves almost, except house of course.
