Is there a 1.5 volt battery that is the same size as an A23 battery?
I recently bought a small clock that did not come with a battery. The compartment for the battery says it takes a 1.5 volt battery. The size of the compartment is the same as for an A23 battery. But A23’s are 12 volts. Is there a 1.5 volt battery that is the same size as an A23 battery?
The size N battery is close to the A23 in height but slightly larger in diameter. The AAA is about the same diameter but about 50% taller. Most battery operated clocks take the common AA size.
