workout plan for gaining weight at the gym for a woman?

hi all, i have just started the gym today, i am going to be going twice a week, i have purchased a big tub of whey protein, which i am taking 3 times a day, i am weighing eight & half stone and am 5ft 5″, but i am going to the gym to try & gain weight, and have been told to use weights more than anything to build muscle mass etc…so is their any professional fitness trainers out their to tell me the best weight lifts to do and how many reps, i,ve heard the military press, bench press & lunges are best for this, but could do with someone giving me a workout plan for this, so that i do it all right, plz help.

most of the stuff you find on training theory is biased unscientific opinion. the fitness industry is real big on marketing, when it comes to training theory find out for yourself, heres a resource for you, also you dont need a personal trainer for training theory, food sure, training theory no, ive never used one. its a money sink. dont listen to what people say, cept me. most things if not all things said on traiing theory oh this is so great for this and that is all opinion.

the static exercises were to radical for me plus i dont have safety so i dont do it, but most of the book is research you can apply,
when your done reading it youl be smarter than professional athletes in weightlifting

personal training for training theory is a waste of money a big one, most of them know the exact same thing as the average gym goer they just “tweak” it and make it look professional, i havnt heard anything said by a trainer i didnt know with common sense..
