Blood Glucose Test

How long did it fast for a blood test?
I took it and I fasted for 16 hours and I was 85. Am I right?
When I was pregnant, I had to do this test and I could do nothing but water after midnight and my appointments are always in the morning. I had to take two times and reached to have gestational diabetes and my number was 120-some something that should be good to go if you were a 85.
