Why do people wear rubber band with braces?
Hello.
I got my braces on recently!
I was just wondering what the rubber band for braces are for. And does everyone with braces have to wear the rubber bands?
I heard from some people that they are to fix overbites. I don’t have an overbite so I wouldn’t have to wear the rubber bands?
Cause Dentists wreak hell upon their patients
And yes..
to align the jaw aha.
You may have a slight bite issue, so maybe towards the end, and also– towards the end, they use rubber bands to do finishing touches.
The Rubber bands basically put pressure on the teeth so they can move into whateva desired position.
Buuut I’m pretty sure it’s entirely up to the patient (you)
