How much on average does it cost to Neuter a puppy in Canada?

Does it matter if its a puppy or a full grown dog?

It depends where in Canada you live. If you live in a big city (Toronto for example) then yes – it can be drastically expensive. If you live in a small, rural city or even in the country then your vet bills will be less expensive.

In my experience, it is more expensive to get your dog spayed or neutered when they are older and considered ‘mature’. Usually 10 months or older.

I would recommend all shots be administered before getting this procedure done. Please talk to your vet about all of this. Or, if you do not have a family vet, there is no harm in calling around and asking the receptionists questions, including pricing. This way you can shop around and get a feel of the veterinarians office before even bringing your dog.
