Is it tacky to ask Bridal Shower guests to bring lawn chairs?

I’m the Maid of Honor for one of my best friends this summer and I am hosting a Bridal Shower for her. It is going to be low-key, at my home with a “luau/cook-out/Hawaiian” theme and lots of alcohol (which fit the bride’s personality).

I would first see if you can collect enough from family members and friends before sending out the invites asking them to bring their own, but if you can’t then I can’t see anything wrong with asking them to bring their own chair. It would be a different story if you were hosting a formal tea, but since you’ve got the nice luau-cookout with the casual laid back vibe, then asking guests to bring a lawnchair is perfectly acceptable.
