What is the best tile to use in the shower that isn’t slippery and can easily be cleaned?

We are building a 5′ x 4′ walk in shower for wheel chair access. The whole shower stall will be tiled but I need to use a product that isn’t slippery when wet.

I would go with either 1) a sanded ceramic–very inexpensive– we bought some at Expo Design Center (part of Home Depot) a couple of years ago- we went with a basic white 6×6 that had fine sand embedded in the surface to make it non-slip. Or, 2) honed (flattened) natural stone pebbles (attached to mesh backing on a 12×12 sheet). This is more expensive, but beautiful!
