hearing aids whos wears them?

i have been hard of hearing from birth and i have just got some cic ones for 2 grand so no one can see them but i just cant get used to then. i feel like i am all blocked up and its soo unconfitable what can i do as i really need to wear them.
am only 21 to and had the big hang on your ear ones and got bully so had to get cic ones.

Oh my god, I feel totally the same. I bought an in the ear one as I need it for my job (as a journo, to hear in court etc), but I didn’t feel it made a difference. Then got one on the National Health Service – it’s a big ear trumpet style one – and it’s marginally better but I still hate and it and can’t hear properly. Have nearly quit my job over it cos it gets me down so much – am only 27. have you been back to the audiologist to tell them this? They’re a pain in the backside, and I know what you mean about the blocked up feeling.
