Can I clear the custom using my personal name rather than a compnay name in California USA?

I am trying to import some goods from China to USA. And I would like to know can I clear the custom with my personal name rather than a company name?
How do I fill out the Bill of Lading using my personal name?

I think you can do this only if your business is run under your name. So if your name is Bill, and you run your business under Bill, then it’s just you supplementing your income basically, at least if it’s like it is in Canada.

But realize that it may look really really suspicious.

If you’re worried, just start up a number company to do it.
