how do i find a job that will train me to be a CNA (certified nursing assistant) while working for them?
ive heard that you can work for nursing homes, etc. and get your CNA while working for them. how do i find out what programs are in my area?
Call your local community college or adult education system. Most of your CNA classes are offered through one of those, and one of your requirements for completeing the class is so many hours in a clinical setting (nursing home). Most of the schools have an agreement with the popular nursing homes in your area for their students to study there. Then once you are in the door for your school training, you open the possibility of proving yourself and being offered a position.
