how can i get over my drug addiction, its basically ruining my life?

iver been to a lot of different out patient AODA treatment facilitys, 1 NA concentrated group home when i was 15, sober maybe 2 months. Then i was sent to rehab, when i was 16, i was sober for 6 months, but then relapesed, i dont like to do them though, but its like my body talkes over my brain, i cant even have a day without smokin a bowl, a christmas with coke.
i just hate shit right now and im lookin for help

You’ve taken a big step already in acknowledging you have a problem & you want help.

I have been clean & sober now for over 30 years. I did it on my own without any help. Here’s how:

Make up your mind that it’s truly what you want to do. It sounds as if you already have.

Find new friends. That’s actually the hardest part, but important. Peer pressure and influence are very powerful.

Find other things to do. Take a walk or excercize when you get the urge. Don’t let yourself get bored.

Ask your family for support. That’s hard to do also, but it will cause you to put even more pressure on yourself to succeed because you won’t want to let them down.

Reward yourself for every day you go without. Spend the money you would have on drugs and get something else useful or enjoyable.

Take pride in yourself. Feel good about what you are doing. Most of all, believe in yourself & be patient.

Push yourself hard. You’ll get over the cravings much faster than you think. It gets easier every day you don’t slip up.

It’s a bumpy road to travel, but I know you can make it.
