Custom insoles for Snowboard boots: Do they help minimize the heel lift?

I do have a heel lift even if the front of the boots being snug (toes brushing the front of the boots) and despite I tighten the inner lace to the point of cutting circulation to prevent the heel from lifting …Probably should have gone with half a size smaller (((( Is there any solution to “pack-in” my heel somehow? Insoles, like those Superfeet, or any other brand? J-Bars? (these came in with the burton Sapphire boots I bought, but did not use them yet. And can you tell me how to place those in???) Or maybe wearing thicker socks???? Or a custom pad to place in the nose of the boot maybe???? (I even thought of experimenting by stuffing the nose of the foot with a torn piece of a wool sock ) Any advice???
