Diabetic Crew

just a quick question to all air cabin crew and other airline employees..?
So im diabetic and just needed to know whether I can become air cabin crew. Will it affect my employment in the job at all? I know you have to be physically fit so will this go against me? Please answer if you know the answer for definite because google just says you either can on some airlines or can’t all together. Thanks, Ben.
I don’t think you need to buy a book to tell you whether you can fly with diabetes. It just needs to be well controlled so that you don’t run the risk of passing out during a flight. You might keep in mind that it can be very difficult to get a proper meal, or any meal at all, while you are at work. I have many 14 hr days with no breaks and passengers in your face the whole time, which makes eating nearly impossible. When you attend the 3 to 9 week training, they will have you under a lot of stress, working long and late hours to prepare you for what will come and if it looks like you are not keeping up, they will know. They are looking for problems. So think it over and good luck to you!
