Can I prevent my bunions from getting worse?
I have a mild bunion on my left foot and a moderate bunion on my right foot. I am a 32 year old female and I am very athletic. I do not want to get bunion surgery and so I am trying to prevent the bunions from getting worse. I only wear a 2 inch heel when I wear dress shoes. I wear SuperFeet Orthotic arches in all of my shoes. I use a bunion regulator at night. Can someone give me their opinion if they think this may prevent my bunions from getting worse?
I assume you have flat feet, right? Correcting them will not only relieve the pressure on your toe joint so the bunion does not increase, but will also alleviate many other problems you may have as a result of your condition.
