Are dress socks that aren’t solid color okay to wear? (Designs, triangles/rectanges, different colors, etc)?

I usually wear solid color socks, either black, dark brown, dark blue, beige, etc,.but sometimes I see these non-solid color dress socks with all different funky designs on them. They look like they’re just too much, and if you’re wearing solid single color dress pants with lets say shoes…they’d just stand out and look weird.

I think it’s okay, as long as you’re wearing dress pants or jeans, and no one can see them. They aren’t really great for the office, but if no one can see them through your shoes, why not?
