Will THC show up in a urine test that is not for drugs?

I am taking a urine test to see if I can take some prescribed medication and they’re basically testing for blood in the urine and to see if there is protein in the urine, so will they also test for THC too or not?
No i’m not a frequent smoker is what just one time.

If you’re having a urinalysis for blood and protein, the lab will not test for THC metabolites. This is a completely separate, different test.

Your insurance company will not pay for a test that is ordered without a diagnosis. So your doctor will not order a urine drug screen unless THC is going to somehow interact with either your medical condition or the medication he/she’s going to prescribe. If a doctor orders a test without a medical reason, his/her office (or the patient) must pay the full price of that test, as the insurance company will refuse to pay.

I’m assuming you are a marijuana smoker. No judgements here, just facts: hopefully smoking will not make your illness worse, or interfere with the medication you’re going to get. You may want to find out what your diagnosis/medication is, and do some research.
