What are the best, most hearing aid battery life?

My hearing aids take a size 312 battery. Until now I tried Duracell, Energizer and CVS brand batteries. The Duracell and energizers are just about neck and neck in terms of how long they last (about 7-8 days). The CVS batteries are not very good, but (6-7 days). Thoughts? Suggestions?

Duracell and Energizer batteries are the best on the market today. They are still very limited, but progress is coming. There have been some recent advances in battery technology that gradually filter down to batteries consumption over the next two years. These new batteries are much more durable, and rechargeable batteries can be loaded in seconds. It is assumed that rechargeable cars possible electric shock in the coming years. Meanwhile, no more only another option to consider. You may be able to find brands cheap batteries in bulk at a much lower price than the Duracell or Energizer. They will not last nearly as long, but at a lower price, it can often make the difference and still save money in the end. For example, when buying AA batteries I realized you can get at Walmart for 24 batteries at cheap prices for the same price as four Duracell. This means that the Duracell battery would last for six times more to equal the same cost. Not so. If the convenience of not having to change batteries is that you is concerned, then the only thing I can suggest is to turn off the headset when not in use. Turning down the volume can also put a bit of battery life, if you can without compromising your hearing.
