Ear Hearing Aids

is there special hockey helmets made for kids with over the ear hearing aids?
I don’t think so, but it would be more comfortable without the ear cover. Even if the kid gets any kind of impact in the ear, it’s going to hurt. Might as well give the aid some kind of flexibility so that it doesn’t jam itself deeper into the canal.
I think it’s Steve Downie who has a hearing problem and he doesn’t even wear one when he plays. He relies mostly on visual cues.
