Did any one know this is good for knee pain?

someone told me to buy, PREPARATION H , & i had it already, i had the SUPPOSITORIES, so i was told to melt 3 of them in microwave & rub with a cotton ball on my arthritis, so i did that to my knee, & well, the cotton ball had some mixture in it, from rubbing in in so i squeezed it & got it all out & rubbed it on my sore knee from arthritis & i put a dollar store elastic knee support on my knee & wow, what a Difference it makes, it took the pain away, almost all of it, has anyone heard of it?
