where can I pick up an extra wide toilet seat?

I have gained a few pounds and can no longer comfortably sit on my toilet. It is really starting to hurt and cause irritation and shaffing. I plan to lose the weight but what do I do in the mean time? Yesterday I just went on a piece of of newspaper but I refuse to ever do that again because…well…because I’m not a DOG – just a little overweight is all.

Toilets are all made at a standard size, so the toilet seats made are only for that size.

The only thing that I could recommend is trying a commercial supply place, like for hospitals, etc.
