How many times I can use ultrasound therapy?

I received ultrasound treatment from a physiotherapist 2x a week. It has helped my plantar fasciitis. I just purchased a therapeutic ultrasound equipment operating at 1MHz, which I think is the correct frequency for my use, and I wonder how many times you can using therapeutic ultrasound, and what is the optimal time to use a week? And is it possible to abuse it? Thanks!
