Why is my hip still hurting after training, even though I’m following my doctor’s advice?
My doctor says that I hurt my hip because I wasn’t wearing neutral shoes with my orthotics. My doctor recommended that I get fitted with a pair of shoes from a running store. I got a second opinion from my podiatrist who concurred with my doctor.
After getting permission to train again, I put in 30 minutes on the elliptical with my new shoes and now my hip is hurting again. Any ideas what’s causing the pain?
Arthritis. You didn’t mention if an x-ray was taken. Also a nerve could be the issue. An orthopedic that is tied in to a neurosurgeon is where you need to get these answers. Insist on an MRI. Good luck!
