Foot Heel

Any Idea what’s wrong with the side of my foot near the heel please?
When I tilt my left foot inwards I have a pain on the side near my heel. It’s been there a month now and while it’s not generally a problem to me and I don’t even notice it most of the time, occasionally I will without thinking turn my foot inwards and then it gets this sharp scratchy type pulling/tearing feeling. It’s not dreadfully painful, but it is sudden and intense.
Should I be worried?
This doesn’t sound as though it’s anything to be desperately worried about. The pain may be due to a ligament injury/ strain. Plantar fasciitis is a possibility but I would expect the discomfort to be underneath your foot as opposed to on the side. Make sure that you are wearing well fitting shoes.
If you are concerned, ask your Dr to take a look.
