Benjamin Air Rifle- 312?? Please HELP!!?
We came upon this grimy, old pneumatic air rifle. Somewhere along the line, someone had duct taped it together! We cleaned it up, and, now that we can read the model number, it turns out to be a benjamin air rifle, with “312″ as the number at the end of the barrel. It also says “Benjamin Franklin” on the side. It’s all brass, and wood.
But we can’t find it anywhere on the internet, as far as manuals go.
Any ideas? Thanks!
The “Benjamin Franklin” that is stamped on the left side of the receiver is a play(joke) on the company name.
You are correct, you have a Benjamin 312** – It’s a .22 caliber with a rifled barrel.. They were made up until the late 60’s when Benjamin replaced it with the model 342.
**The model 310 was a smoothbore .177 & the 317 was a .177 with a rifled barrel.
If you’re wanting to know it’s worth. A 312 in very nice shape sold recently for $80 at an online auction.
I don’t know where you can get a manual for the 312, but you can see the manual for the 392.
