What is the least expensive blood glucose testing system. Especially the test strips?

I have freestyle but the strips cost about a buck a piece AFTER my insurance!

When I was first diagnosed, Walmart had the cheapest strips… But, they also have a walmart brand meter. Its not as fancy as name brands, but i think the meter is between $30 and $60 and the strips are about $20-$40 for 100. Check the website/your local pharamcy for youself. And, don’t give up testing because its expensive. Its the best way to learn your body.
