Freestyle Lancets

Has anyone used generic lancets to test blood sugar?
The ones for his tester (Freestyle Freedom) are like $26.00 for a box of 100 lancets but I saw them at WalMart where “compatible” ones run about $8.00 for the same sized box. I wondered if anyone had used “off brand” lancets, and if they had good or negative experiences to share.
I work in the medical supply industry …they have generic brands that are just as good …they may not have as fine a point, but other than that are very comparable.
However, the problem is using the lancing device ….usually they only fit one type of lancet …..just make sure the lancet will fit into your lancing device ..and you’ll be ok.
