Glucometer Diabetic

How old do you have to be to buy a glucometer? (I would really appreciate if a pharmacist would answer.)?
ALL ANSWERS ARE WELCOME NOT JUST FROM PHARMASICT!) I am 17 yrs. old and I am not diabetic. I think I may have hypoglycemia though and I would like to find out if I am without going to the doctors. I looked things up about it and the same symptoms can be cause by an anxiety attack. If you don’t have low sugar at the time you go to the doctor they can’t always know.
self-diagnosis is a very very dangerous thing to do. hypoglycemia is actually a symptom of something, not a condition in it of itself. try the mayo clinic, it has great info.
