sharp pain in my throat when I tilt my head right??

A few weeks ago, my voice was very hoarse and my throat was really bad. They thought it was a sinus infection and gave me Bactrim (I think). However, three weeks later, my voice is hoarse, and when my head tilt to the right, especially swallowing, I have excrutiating pain in the right side of my throat. I also noticed small red bumps in my throat, but the nurse said that these were nothing. What I do? What is it? I must say that in fact do a strep test, which proved negative. But they did a blood test … Mono? In addition, area around my eyes were swollen and I'm very tired.

It looks more like me tonsillitis or strep throat. I want to go back to the doctor and ask the physician who will examine and take a throat culture. You do not want to ignore one of these diseases can be very serious if nothing is done. Bactrim (or otherwise) can not be completely killed the bacteria.
