Can having heel spur cause other foot pain, besides the heel?

Have had two cortizone injections, that worked ok. Now I have just a little heel pain, however, the top of my foot and the arches of my foot are very painful. Especially 1st thing in the morning. And if I spend too much time on my feet, like housecleaning, etc. my foot kills me even worse for several days. Or even running around the yard with the dog, if it twists funny causes severe pain. Help this is really upsetting my life.

It definitely can because it involves the nerves and it is likely that the same nerves being affected by the spur are the ones at the top and arches of your foot. Discuss this with your physician/podiatrist and see what more can be done to help.
