Heel Spur

I think I have a heel spur. Should I stop taking calcium supplements?
A spur is calcium deposits–could using too much calcium be adding to my problem? I take a multi-vitamin every morning and a calcium tablet as I don’t drink milk.
A spur is not actually a calcium deposit it is a bone in the foot from which a spur grows from a calcium deposit. taking less calcium at this point won’t help. You need orthotics or arch supports you can buy in the store to try. I found a lot on this website.

My sister had surgery to have a heel spur removed 8 weeks ago, The surgery went well but she never listened to the Dr and stayed off her foot as long as the Dr said so she got an infection. The cut was very small, less than an inch liong.
