How I can help my friend addicted?

I met him at the psychiatric hospital because, like me, who suffers from depression and psychosis. He has done much about: heroin, crack, marijuana, mushrooms, etc, but Extacy is addicted to methadone opiates. I do not know how to help. Only Turendo 18 and was evicted from her home. This is what I can do to help? Or it could be some personal experiances useful too? Thanks x

My best friend is addicted to ex-heroin and has been for 14 years. It was methadone, which simply feed the addiction with another drug. It was at this every day for two years, I mean go. Finally just go back to the real substance and everything I could lay hands. There is nothing you can do to help a person. I'm quite be serious, the drug is the only thing you see or know. I have seen so many people succumb to drugs and never a happy ending. Fly and lies as they should to get the money they need for their drugs. It is best if you keep your distance with that person and not have drivers associated with them, they will be good for you.
