How to download YouTube videos in high quality home?

I downloaded videos from YouTube and I also downloaded many many youtube videos. When downloading a YouTube video, the quality is compressed. Even if you press the AC button and see the video, the quality is not as much as my original. As Therefore, the same phenomenon occurs for all the downloaded videos right?
