I have nerve pain. What could it be from?

I sit at a desk all day (changing jobs in a week) and sit funny so now my left shoulder constantly hurts. Now, yesterday the palm of my left hand has gone very sensitive and ‘cold/hot’ feeling. I just now put my elbow on the desk to lean on my hand and a shooting pain came from my elbow.
Does it sound like a pinched nerve? What do they do for this? Carpal Tunnel?

In the mean time, you may want to go to your local drug store and purchase a wrist brace. This will help your wrist stay in the proper position.
