Symptoms of a torn meniscus can be confused with arthritis of the knee, or vice versa?

I've been two surgeons, ortho, and I had conflicting pieces of information … Doc claims I have a torn meniscus, while the Doc B claims as arthritis behind the kneecap. Both documents were sorted and received an MRI. Then the symptoms of a torn meniscus to be confused with knee arthritis, or vice versa? in any case, he wondered, symptoms are mainly the pain: movement triggered intensive. May persist for 1-2 hours, but decreases the intensity of overtime. I can not really say I have episodes "lock." Thx!. I'm very confused … Ha ~ I had two MRI four months of each other. My main interest is to define appropriate measures. No need to believe either. I want to be informed about appropriate treatment options.

Most of the time a torn meniscus appears on an MRI. I can not believe you've had two MRIs and their insurance has agreed to pay for both. I would try to talk to the radiologist and get their opinion.
