What color curtains should I put in my dining room?

My room has wooden floors and walls are painted bisque Monroe (which is a tan light gold). I have a large dining table for up to ten, and I am the president of Burgundy covers all the 10 chairs. Very simple maroon curtains / drapes for my two small windows, but do not know if it would be too with the chair covers. Suggestions?
