Weird pressure just below the left ribs?
I am a woman of 34 years of age without any real medical problem. I have high cholesterol, but that's it. Recently, I had this strange pressure just below my left rib cage. It feels almost like a muscle spasm, but I'm not sure. I'm taking antibiotics for a chest cold, do not know if that's what's behind it. Ideas?
I have pressure then, from time to time. In general, becomes a gas. If you do not disappear within 24 hours or so, I suggest you consult a doctor. Your gallbladder and pancreas are in this area, and if one of them is inflation, may indicate an infection.
