Anyone know if the new digital testers worth blood cholesterol at home?

I caught one of them. It was very expensive (over $ 100 with test strips). These new demands to test the level of HDL and triglycerides. Anyone aware of these meters? I have it from CVS. If this is not accurate (as the old ones) just do not use and return it. I wanted to just be able to check exactly my cholesterol at home without the cost and hassle of going to the doctor / laboratory. Thanks for all Help!
