No chest strap heart rate monitor?

I'm looking to buy a heart rate monitor and you do not trust the machines at my gym. All I thought the world come with a chest strap sends heart rate reading by a wristwatch. He or someone you know an instructor who is the wristwatch? I do not want to use a chest strap. Thanks!
