Muscles do not give me prednisone and joint pain?

Last night I went to the hospital with an allergic reaction to something I ate. Them gave me and IV with Benadryl, prednisone, and Pepcid. Today, my hips in my joints and my legs are sore. I've never had this happen to me or even know his answer. Is it normal that these drugs cause?
