If a rabbit was broken toe or foot, to what extent are intertwined by a back brace?

My years of two Dutch rabbit wounded in the foot, do not know what he was running around the garden, and then when we went to put him in his crib at night, noticed a deep cut on his leg before. I had two rabbits that have suffered broken bones when they were young, because it is in large bearings which have played a game with more mental leap – It's complicated were crazy. Anyway one of them "properly" splint, but never got to use leg was much smaller than him and jumped on its three legs for the rest of his life.
