Anyone know what the inside of a chair?

More specifically, does anyone know what is a comfortable chair and another at home? What are some common materials used in office chairs and recliners chairs? Certainly is not just foam. That does not explain why some chairs can support abuse and other (usually less expensive) to close within a year. I hope someone knows something about it.
