Is there a single version of the iPod touch?

I know there are different memory capacities, but new and old versions of the iPod touch or just one version? In addition, the GPS map to work on them when out of wireless Internet? I want to buy a line and I fear I may have a version Previous by mistake!

There are two versions of the iPod Touch (first generation and second generation) the current versions do not have GPS. They put a GPS in the future. In fact, I recommend the Archos iTouch, especially Archos 5 Internet Media Tablet. There is another model called Archos Archos 605, called 605 models under 605 WiFi and GPS. The 605 is an old and slower than the Archos 5, but is an option for the GPS, if you do not need GPS then go for the Archos 5.
