Question Gluclose meters in the blood?
My husband, 39, just had a heart attack on Tuesday. After recovery, We have been informed and is diabetic. We are given a meter, called OneTouch ® Ultra ® 2. The meter is free, but they are Stips costs us a fortune. Does anyone know of another brand of bands that are more cost that fits this m? Our insurance does not cover the cost of the tapes. Thanks!
Check with the company that makes the meter. Some of them have programs to help pay for the bands or even give it to you. Ask your local clinic and the doctor's office to see if they know any programs to help to pay for supplies.
