'm Not drawing enough blood from my fingers to my belt test. Advice on this?

I want to move glucose tests from my fingers. I can use the so-called Abbott Optium glucometer. The lancet is 30 gauge. I am very new in the use of meters that I have been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes on 29 February. I will see my doctor on April l5, but I wanted to know what my levels of blood glucose are present, so I bought a meter.

Sometimes, new users tend to pull the fingers of the lancet. Push a little harder and using the sides of the fingers.
